Online Marketing Manager


Kapow Software is looking for a smart, analytical, data-driven Online Marketing Manager passionate about driving results. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and requires a "can do" and "think outside the box" attitude across a broad set of marketing disciplines. It's a great opportunity for a marketing professional passionate about online marketing, conversion rates and lead generation in a data-driven marketing organization while supporting our dynamic sales and business development teams.

In order to be successful in this role you will have to have knowledge of online marketing disciplines and a passion for the internet and how marketing can take full advantage of it.

The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting marketing automation, corporate website, social media campaigns, marketing operations, and lead generation programs, as well as working closely with Sales and Partner organizations to drive programs, campaign tracking and data analysis.

Prior experience with online marketing driving superior performance and results is key. We are seeking an intellectually curious marketer who improves results through problem solving, data analysis, and fine-tuning of programs.

Desired Skills & Experience

Education

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or Mangement

Experience

  • 4-7 years marketing experience (preferably at a technology company)
  • Familiarity with online marketing and sales automation tools (Salesforce.com, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, WordPress, SEO, SEM)
  • Knowledge of and experience with marketing automation, email campaigns and landing page creation (Marketo, Eloqua or Pardot)
  • Social Media (linkedin, twitter, Facebook, etc.) strategy, measurement, lead gen, budgeting and results
  • Understands lead gen and how to drive sales leads (MQLs,SQLs, etc.)
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and fine tuning to improve conversion
  • Photoshop and a creative design sense
  • Strong Program Management skills
  • Startup company marketing experience is a big plus
  • Familiar with Excel
  • Strong metrics reporting experience
  • Demonstration of strong performance and growth in prior roles and academics
