Self-service integration extends to the desktop
In Katalyst 9.1 integration is no longer locked within the IT department but is now extended to business users, empowering them to get the data they need to do their job when and where they need it.
We've made it easy for IT to build integrations in a matter of hours and publish them as web apps – called Kapplets – easily accessible to employees, partners or customers. Kapplets put the power of Katalyst Katalyst into the hands of non-technical users to manage, run and automate manual business processes, search and monitor data sources, and deliver data-driven reports. Business users can discover and run thousands of Kapplets which are published and shared through a shared Kapplet repository or an Enterprise AppStore.
Users can run Kapplets on-demand and view results directly in the browser. They can start a Kapplet, let it run and receive results via email alerts. Input parameters can be customized and configured via a dropdown list or user-specific default values. Kapplets can easily be shared and recommended to colleagues delivering "self-service integration" to any desktop.
Elastic virtual deployment, on-premise or in the cloud
Any department can benefit from easy access to information across systems, automation of manual processes and better application integration. To address the growing demand across the enterprise, we've made it simple to dynamically scale and add more compute capacity on-demand, with virtualized deployment independent of the server configuration - in the cloud, on-premise or in a hybrid environment.
Use physical servers, virtual servers, multiple low-end servers or one high-end server -- Katalyst will deliver the same compute capacity with automatic load-balancing and failover for improved performance.
Our new on-demand "compute unit" model means you can easily add capacity in smaller increments and only pay for what you use.
Boost productivity with enhanced data mapping
Building Kapow Katalyst integration workflows becomes even more productive with our enhanced visual data mapping. It's ideal for working with XML and Web services. The Data Mapper allows adding and editing attributes and converters supporting even the most complex data extractions and transformations. Instead of coding or writing scripts you can just "Kapow it!"
